FAQ
The practical questions, answered.
Scope, price, ownership, upkeep, and what happens when a build needs its own written plan.
Who is Kairo for?
Trades where the customer decides by looking at the finished work: deck, patio and pergola builders, kitchen and bath remodelers, general contractors, landscaping and hardscaping, pool builders, and roofers. If a photo of your last job is what closes your next one, this build is made for you.
What does the build cost?
$1,800 flat, split into $900 to start and $900 after the final walkthrough, before handoff or launch. That is founding-client pricing for the first five clients, and the scope is written down before work starts.
What does founding-client pricing mean?
The first five clients get the full build at $1,800. In return, Kairo shows the finished site as portfolio work, publishes the before-and-after of what AI search says about your business, and asks you for a short testimonial once it is live. Nothing else changes: same scope, same agreement, same price for everyone in those five.
I am not one of those trades. Can you still build my site?
Usually, yes. It is scoped separately at custom pricing rather than the standard build, so you get a written quote that states the scope, the price, the payment milestones and the timing, and work starts once it is accepted. Ask on the call.
What if my project needs something different?
Anything outside the fixed build is quoted in writing before the work, never added to the invoice afterwards. That covers extra pages, a store, an integration, or anything that needs a backend. The quote states the scope, the price, the payment milestones and the timing, and work starts once it is accepted.
How long does a build take?
The written proposal sets the schedule. It depends on how quickly Kairo receives accurate materials, access, decisions and consolidated feedback. Delayed materials move the date.
Do I own the website and domain?
After all build invoices are paid, you own the site content, copy, branding created for the site, and the domain. You are the registrant. Kairo keeps its reusable design system, templates, components and tools.
What does the Care Plan cover?
It is $197 a month and covers hosting, SSL certificate management, backups, security monitoring, domain management, reasonable technical upkeep, a monthly check of whether AI search recommends you for your trade in your area, your client dashboard, and one tightly scoped small edit each month. It does not include new pages, rewrites, redesigns, new functionality or integrations.
Will a new website guarantee leads?
No. Kairo does not guarantee rankings, traffic, calls, leads, sales or bookings. Results also depend on demand, pricing, reputation, availability, and how fast you follow up.
Will AI search actually recommend me?
Kairo does the work that makes it possible: structured answers, consistent business details, the things AI search reads. It is checked before launch and again every month on the Care Plan, and you see the results. What Kairo does not do is promise a placement. Nobody can, honestly.
Why is the founding price lower than the standard one?
Because Kairo is early in this niche and wants five finished sites it can show. The scope is fixed and there is nothing in it but the build: no hourly billing, no account manager, no monthly contract you cannot leave. Once those five are built the price for new projects goes up. It never changes for a project already quoted.
Still have a question?
Bring it to the call. If Kairo is not a fit, that is useful to know early.
